Celebrating 60 Years - A Knight at the Gala

A Knight at the Gala

The SMS community came together on Friday, April 21st, at Farmington Gardens to celebrate our school's 60th Anniversary.  Our Pastor, Father Matera and our Principal, Mrs. Williamson, welcomed school parents, past parents, alumni, and friends and supporters of our school to the celebration.  The event included a delicious dinner, silent and live auction and entertainment by Rob Surette and his Amazing Hero Art.  Our thanks and congratulations to event organizers who worked so hard to make this evening a great success and to all who attended this event or supported the event with donations of time, treasure and talent.

Members of the Gala Committee created a beautiful timeline of
our school.
Table decor was beautifully displayed.

Father Matera opened the evening with prayer & remarks.

Mrs. Williamson read proclamations from Archbishop Blair &
Dr. Griffin.

We were pleased to have State Representative & SMS Alum
John Hampton with us.
Artist Rob Surette with members of the Melanson family
with the beautiful portrait he created of Alfred & Ethel Melanson.

Jay Reynolds & Rebecca Lobo Rushin presided over our
exciting live auction.
