2013-2014 Back to School Mailing is on its way!

Back to School Mailing is on its way! Back to School information is being sent to all enrolled families via U.S. mail on 8-12-13. Please contact the school office if you do not receive your packet. 

Please do your best to return all required forms by the dates requested. This is particularly true for the Signature Acknowledgements for the Student/Parent Handbook, the iPad Acceptable Use Agreement and the Diocesan required Use Agreement for Electronic Resources form. These 3 documents must be signed and returned before a student receive his/her iPad.

Renovations are continuing.  We are beginning to move things into the new administrative space.  The telephone system is still experiencing some malfunctions.  Please contact us by email at smsoffice@stmarysimsbury.eduk12.net if you have not had a phone call returned.  The fax machine is still not working, forms or paperwork may be dropped off at the school office between 9am and 1pm or sent to the school via U.S. mail.






Please also look forward to the following "Back to School" Events:

*  Mr. Cosham will host a meeting for parents of incoming Kindergarten students on Monday, August 26th at 6pm in the Kindergarten classroom.

*  Miss Kane will host a "Meet & Greet" for students entering PreKindergarten on Tuesday, August 27th from 9:30-10:30am in the new PreKindergarten classroom in the main school building.  A parent or caregiver should also attend.

  

*  Students entering Kindergarten through Grade 3 and a parent or caregiver are invited to a "Meet & Greet" on Tuesday, August 27th from 10:30-11:30 in the classrooms.  This is a great opportunity to bring in your school supplies!

 

*  Students entering grade 6 and new students entering our 7th and 8th grades are invited to a "Morning in Middle School" on Tuesday, August 27th from 9-11:30am.  Please meet in your homeroom.

CHOICE Cards will be available for puchase on Friday, August 16th from 9-11am in the main hallway of the school.

 Is Sunday morning at 8am a little early for you? Or maybe you are looking for an alternative Mass time.  Starting September 1^th, St. Mary's will have an additional Mass at 9:30 am every Sunday morning.  We still have our existing Mass schedule of Saturday at 5 pm, Sunday 8 am, 9:30 am and 11 am.
