News for the Week of 11/6/19

One Last Day to Shop Our Fall Bookfair!  Bookfair will be open tomorrow until 3pm.  Many, many thanks to our bookfair coordinator, Tricia Prausa, for all she's done to make the fair a success and to the volunteers who have been here helping students select books and with sales.

Sunday Coffee - All are welcome to join us in the Gathering Space of the Magowan Center on Sunday, 11/10, after the 8 and 9:30am Masses.  This weekend's coffee is being hosted by the school and we'd love to see our school families drop by for coffee and conversation with the rest of our Parish community.  In addition to the opportunity to share some fellowship, you can also shop for CHOICE cards and fill out your 8th grade fundraiser poinsettia order.

Veterans Day Assembly - On Monday, November 11, students of St. Mary's School will be honoring our Veterans with reading and songs.  We are also honored to welcome Mr. Tyler, Grace's (grade 8) dad who will be bringing therapy dogs who work with veterans.  All family members and veterans are invited to attend. Our program will begin at 8:50am in the Parish Center.

REMINDER - Students that participated in the Box of Joy program may wear PE uniforms and/or Spirit Wear on Monday, 11/11.

Hot Lunch Order Period for December - Hot lunches for December may be ordered via the Educonnect Parent Portal from Monday, 11/11/19 - Friday, 11/15/19.  No late orders can be accepted.

Lyman Pie & Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Delivery - The Lyman Pie fundraiser items will be available for pick up on Tuesday, 11/19.  All pies and cookie dough arrive frozen and MUST be picked up on 11/19.  The school does not have freezer space to store orders overnight.  If you want your order sent home with your child(ren) on the bus or via carpool, please call the school office.  Pick up times for the orders will be announced soon. NOTE - There is NO HOT LUNCH on Tuesday, 11/19.

Senior Luncheon - This year our annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, 11/20.  This annual luncheon is a wonderful tradition that brings our entire community together since there are many donations of food needed and many Virtus trained volunteers needed to make the luncheon a success.

Please donate to make our Senior Luncheon a success!
