Election Day Fun at SMS
The democratic process was alive and well at SMS on 11/8. Students in Mrs. Keany's second grade stepped through the voting process to decide if they favored popcorn, pretzels or "no homework". "No Homework" won by a landslide!
In Miss Kane's PreKindergarten, the students learned about 2 presidential candidates: Splat the Cat and Buddy the Dog. Student then cast their vote for their preferred candidate. It was a close race, but Buddy the Dog was the winner!
